Presentation Critiques Week 3
Game #9
Name of the Game: Stick Ninja(Continuation)
Arts: Good job on the art illustration.
Balance: Excellent job of presenting the different levels and bonus level. (Four levels in total. Boss Bonus)
Model they used: They failed to mention how their game will be present in the final version
Things to consider: They might want to assign a set value for attack “damage”
Mechanics: Users/Players click to attack enemies using random weapons. This game is a combination of narrative and fantasy.
Originality: I like the idea of introducing random characters
Game #10
Name of the Game: Zodiac War
Arts: Overall, the arts are satisfactory
Model they used: There are a few issues that the team has pointed out; issues such as their paper prototype did not completely mimic the actual game itself.
Things to consider: Maybe they should consider making another paper prototype and test out all the missing components of their game.
Mechanics: Players have to continuously click buttons to attack enemies. It could get boring after a while
Originality: It is not very original.
Game #11
Name of the Game: CrackQuest
Arts: Not the most attractive looking arts.
Model they used: The paper prototype does not exactly resemble the actual game.
Things to consider: Maybe invest a little bit more time on the aesthetic aspect of the game.
Mechanics: It is quite difficult to understand. It is not clear
Originality: The name of the game is very original, but the game play does not match up to its name.

What I did this week
Week 10
What you have done this week for the project?
Transferring some of the concept arts (drawn) onto Flash. Trying to see what it looks like and test out the basic game mechanics.
Where and when you met with your group?
Unfortunately our team did not get to meet up this week due to midterms and busy schedules.
What you are going to do for next week?
I will be working with the concept arts that we have so far and try to recreate it in Flash.
